Douchey item of the day - Prada "wave" sunglasses

What is it about these HORRIBLE sunglasses that every Miami and Vegas-going wear my sunglasses at night D-BAG seems to think they are cool? I don't know what it is about these shades that make me so angry but I think it might be the mess of Ed Hardy that is imminent below the neckline.

If you have these shades...just because they say Prada they don't make you look cool. In fact when I see someone wearing them I presume they are Chinese knock-offs since I hope most people won't be asshole enough to pay more than $10 for such an ugly pair of face armor.

Shame on you Prada for outfitting dickhead's faces the world over.

We have a Clinton Man-Crush

Here at the Plop we don't really get too political but we have never hid our love for former President Clinton. He was the best president of our generation and our country prospered and the world was relatively peaceful under his guidance...In general, politicians are just puppets of the PAC system and do what the money tells them to do.

Today Clinton went and met with Kim Jong Il and did the work our current messiah seemingly couldn't/wouldn't/didn't...free two innocent American reporters from a life inside a North Korean death box.

If our country could only become a monarchy or dictatorship I would vote for Clinton in a heartbeat. Cigars for everyone!

Plop Economic Forum - Bling investment advice

I have been rethinking a COOL/NOT COOL post I did a while back taking the piss out of bling and I would like to retract that posting. In thinking back over the last 10 years of my life of so I have invested my money in "sound" places like 401(k)'s, IRA's, SEP-IRA's, 529's, etc. (though I kept most my cash in a high yield money market account which makes a smoothe 2.5% last I checked). Others have turned to real estate and stocks and we all know how that's going for most.

Well in looking at guys like Soulja Boy (pictured here with his latest acquisition), Geezy and Birdman spending their cheese on bling I can't help but think these guys knew something about economics that the general population overlooked. Precious metals and stones...that is where to hide your money. I am going to have to take a lesson in Hip Hop Economics and ignore what my profs at UCLA taught me (I actually never really went to class).

So next time you get that huge bonus check at work (yeah right) make sure you go out and get a custom blinged out necklace made of your dog or next door neighbor's wife. You can bet your sweet ass, you won't lose your shirt and you will look dammmmmn fine...WORD!

Fedor to Strikeforce!!!!!

It's a done deal and somehow Strikeforce managed to sign the best and most feared man in the world. Fedor Emelianenko will be fighting in Strikeforce and I am so hopeful he fights on the same October card that Jorge will be on!!! That will be amazing to watch him from the floor. There is nobody that can beat this man I don't think.

R.I.P. Affliction League. You didn't really stand much of a chance anyways. Good try. Now you will have to come crawling back to Dana and figure out a way to get fighters back into your gear in the UFC.
