A day in the (makeshift skate)park with Flip

(The Quiver)
So I spent the day out of the office yesterday and headed down to Rune Glifberg's house in San Diego county with the Flip ams to shoot an episode of Built to Shred for Fox Fuel. It was a good time for sure to be outside and eating craft services all day while watching my clients RIP. Here are the pics and commentary fit to print:

Our fearless leader, Andrew Shusterman driving the team van...go us there and back safe and sound.

Rune in the backyard pre-build out. These guys put in three rails, a maze of kickers and a manual pad over his hot tub...

Boys will be boys...but Louie and Langi I caught you "killing it" on razor scooters. Not a good look but maybe you should both go for the whole two-sport wonder thing and go pro as a scooterer too?? Not.

Geoff Rowley rolled down from Long Beach to show support and he and the boys had a good little rip session on this mini-transition. Amazing what can be done on a small kicker.

Rune's M3 is RACE READY!!!

Andrew Langi and Louie Lopez....Langi was the long 10 stair MVP of the day throwing down big spins, impossibles, kickflips and all sorts of junk. For a big kid of 6'2'' he can throw it down.

Louie is always awesome to watch...ollieing the big set with ease...this kid has mad style and makes it look too easy.

Curren was ripping as well. I am so stoked to be working with him and Louie. They are the future of this sport and it's a blast to watch them feed off each other. After skating all day they wound up playing trick for trick on the mini kicker and it was amazing to watch them hit tray flips over and over and over.

Louie boardsliding Rune's board...

A legend and legends in the making.

Finished off a long day of filming, skating and sitting around (I contributed here) doing it right at Ruby's. Their Peanut Butter Cup shakes are heaven in a cup.

The Strange Life - Johnny Strange to develop TV show

After months of grueling back and forth with 4 production companies, we have come to terms to develop a TV show on my client record-holding adventure athlete Johnny Strange. Johnny has been raring to go since I signed him and has some INSANE ideas for the show. We will be partnering with Pilgrim (Ultimate Fighter, TapOut, Dirty Jobs) and I will be Executive Producer on the project.

In other RPRT news, I will be out of the office tomorrow for a road trip down to Rune Glifberg's house with Geoff Rowley, Curren Caples, Louie Lopez and the rest of the Flip crew to film an episode of Fox Fuel's "Built to Shred." Should be fun. Should be antics. There will be pictures.

Friday, my new Snow Team Manager Ken Perkins will officially on board. He has some pocket signings already that will go nicely with Pat Milbery. RPRT is getting close to its first surf signings as well. Finally. Shit is coming together after a pile of dookie month of February.

Rowley + Rotten - London Bound

Had to post this because it is too feckin cool. Geoff Rowley was on a recent flight LAX to London and Mr. Johnny Rotten was on the same flight. Johnny was in the Flip "Sorry" video a few years back and still gets throngs of skaters coming up to him giving him props for it (never mind the fact that he was in The Sex Pistols and P/I/L).

If you get a minute check out the Geoff Rowley x Vans x Sex Pistols shoe HERE.

In other Geoff Rowley news, there will be video game news soon to report.

Never mind these bullocks.

Freebie of the Day - VUE Remote Video Network

So I got a surprise box today at my office that is really a welcome toy to mess with. The VUE personal video network was sent to us today to test out as we may pair a client with the product. Basically this is a wireless camera system you can set up so you can monitor a location remotely through www.vuezone.com.

I really need this system and am excited to set it up. This way I can spy on employees, monitor the cleaners who come in and steal my toilet paper rolls from my private office bathroom and basically make sure no shenanigans go on when I am not in the office (like Friday when I was out all day with Louie Lopez at meetings at Globe shoes...news on that soon).

If you are really good, I may let you log in and watch me work my ass off (hardly) during the day...RPRT will now be virtual and live to the world...if I so choose...but most likely not.
