Don't fuck with the Death Head! Hell's Angels 1, Fashion O

The Alexander McQueen label recently ran the Hell's Angels "Death Head" down the runway and incorporated it into their collection of jackets, dresses, scarves and jewelry. One thing people in fashion, especially the throng of Douchewear designers, should know is to NEVER cop the Death Head. I have heard stories of unassuming rag traders trying to up their cool ante by using the Death Head on their garments only to get paid a visit by the boys in black.

Anyways, McQ and retailers (Saks and Zappos.com have been named) carrying the product have just lost an epic copyright battle and have agreed to pull and destroy the merchandise plus pay a heavy settlement fee.

Is ASR no mas????

Rumors are flying all over the fucking place today in the surf industry. The latest is that ASR is no mas. The iconic trade show which has provided me and many bros and bras good times fueled by velcro and alcohol is reported to be donezo according to Shop Eat Surf.

Not sure what to make of this but I have been sitting on some down low trade show news (in fact I have a meeting about it Friday) and this just might be music to some people's ears.

RIP 3x World Champ - Andy Irons

WOW...early reports have just been released that 3x world champ, Andy Irons, has passed on a flight home from the Rip Curl contest in Puerto Rico. He went to the contest but was feeling sick and headed back to Hawaii. From what I am gathering, he died on a layover in Texas from Dengue Fever.

Andy was a controversial figure in surfing with an attitude to match his surfing prowess...however, there isn't a person alive who can deny just how good he was in the water.

Sad to see a talent like that go so early...RIP and condolences to the Irons family and his pregnant wife.

OK so I am officially OVER holiday season and it barely just began. Dress up is for kids yet grown ass adults insist of reliving their childhood years over and over again every year by dressing slutty and acting like downright fools. When they bring their pets into the fray it is even lamer.

However, I just saw this Boxer in what is easily the most amazing costume of the year. Keep your vampires, your Buzz Lightyears and your slutty French maid outfits...I prefer this Antoine DOGson (if you don't know who Antoine Dodson is do yourself a favor and Google that shit) costume. Amazing.

My 15 minutes get extended

Some of you may (probably not) remember a post I did quite a few months back about a day we went to Rune Glifberg's house to film an episode of Fuel TV's "Built To Shred" with the Flip and Converse skate teams. Well the episode aired this week and sure enough, peppered in with ripping by Rowley, Caples, Langi, Lopez, Glifberg, Loy, Duffy and more is me being a douchebag fat-ass in the background. I am such a star sitting on my ass while everyone else kills Rune's backyard.

Anyways...here is my front and center on national TV. Not the first time, but certainly one of the best. God, I suck.
