For the Ladies - Runningwithheels e-mag

I may or may not have blogged about RunningWithHeels.com in the past but since the EIC is a good friend and awesome person I am going to shill shamelessly for her right here and now because I can (and because her product is awesome and ground breaking in the media space). RunningWithHeels.com is the first completely interactive quarterly fashion publication for the iPad. If you took Vogue and actually mixed the internet, tv and live photo shoots together you would get RWH. When was the last time your typical print mag was able to come to life and actually bring you filmed coverage and behind the scenes footage, where to buy info and videos of half naked models (Playboy are you listening?)????

If you have an iPad (hey RWH send an iPad so I can shill for you more...or at least the shoes I promised...cough cough), I suggest downloading the new issue on Feb. 7th. RWH is taking fashion media to new heights and is pretty much placing the last nail in the coffin of print publications.

Manhattan-based set designer Nikole Nelson brought a new meaning to spring creating these flowers out of shoes for RWH iPad magazine spring issue. Deconstructing over 50 pairs of heels, she created four feature flowers that are part of the magazines interactive feature. Photographed by William Brinson, this exclusive is well worth a look.
